A new CAP Money Course is underway

Three evenings over three weeks, and a room full of people learning to spend, budget and save well.

Our latest CAP Money Course has just got underway, led by Hanro Fourie, our debt coach and trained CAP Money Coach. The course runs over three evenings across three weeks, each about ninety minutes long. It is the same course that more than 20,000 New Zealanders have completed through Christians Against Poverty, and we run it regularly here in Havelock North.

Each evening works through a different part of the CAP Money system. Participants build a budget that matches their real life, learn to run their money through three accounts (regular payments, cash and savings), and set goals they can actually reach. It is practical and down to earth, and it is completely free, including the workbook and CAP’s online budgeting tool. You do not need to be in debt to get something out of it, and you do not need to belong to a church.

This time round the group is a mix of ages and stages, with plenty of laughs alongside the number crunching. If the timing of this one did not suit, get in touch and we will let you know when the next course is scheduled. And for anyone already feeling the weight of debt, our one-to-one financial coaching is open as always.
